DELILA goes to Wales

I’m heading to the Department of Information Studies this afternoon at Aberystwyth University where I am an honorary lecturer. I will be speaking to the students about the DELILA project. We’ll be discussing open educational resources – what they are, why they are important and how useful it can be for librarians to share information literacy resources. My draft presentation is on SlideShare. I may well be changing it a little on the long train ride. But I am looking forward to catching up with some friends and former colleagues. It will also be interesting to talk to student librarians about information literacy and find out how they feel about sharing resources or using someone else’s teaching materials.
