Evaluating open educational resources: draft criteria now available

While we are working hard to convert resources to open educational resources at Birmingham and LSE, others in the DELILA team have also developed some draft criteria to evaluate OERs. This forms part of Work Package 8.

We decided to use Kirkpatrick’s three levels of evaluation to structure the process which asks the reviewer for: their immediate reaction to the resources; to consider the perceived learning and finally any behavioural changes that take place following the intervention. We’d welcome feedback as criteria are still in draft form and we are seeking comments from various professional groups at the moment. You will notice that although they are still in draft format, I have released the document under a Creative Commons Licence, as I’ve been finding out how to add these to all sorts of different documents.
